WHAT IS VEGAN MEAT?
A vegan meat dish is a dish made without any meat or poultry but may include fish. Many people who consume a vegan diet do so for health reasons. They believe that a plant-based diet is lower in saturated fat and cholesterol, and higher in fiber and antioxidants, than a diet that includes meat.
There are a number of reasons why you might want to try a vegan meat dish. Maybe you’re interested in reducing your meat consumption for health or environmental reasons. Or, maybe you’re simply curious about what a vegan meat dish tastes like.
WELL you should not worry as I am here to help you with this amazing vegan meat recipe for everyone
- soya chunks -1 cup
- Green chili -2-3
- Onion -1
- Capsicum -1
- Carrot -1
- Garlic,- 5-6 shells
- Ginger- 1/2 inch
- Cabbage
- Salt
- Soya sauce
- Ketchup
- Chilli sauce
- Black pepper powder
- Red chili powder
- Schwann sauce
- White vinegar
- Rice foil /rice paper sheets
- (Or you can use an alternative like shaurma flat sheet bread or simply use a very thin tortilla)
- Mayonaise
- Chat masala
- Garlic sauce
PREPARATION FOR THE FILLING OF VEGAN MEAT.
* in a pan add 1 cup of soya chunks and 200 ml of water and boil it for 10-15 min(add 1 tablespoon of salt in it)
*Now After the soya chunks are boiled and all soaked you should strain the water and grind the soya chunks in the mixer grinder
.* Now finely chop all the vegetables. (onion, cabbage, capsicum, carrot 1/2)
* In a small cup make a slurry of flour
FOR MAKING VEGAN MEAT
*In frying pan 🍳 (in medium flame)
* Add 2-3 tablespoons of refined sunflower oil.
*Add chopped ginger, garlic, and chili
*Now add all the finely chopped vegetables and cook for 5 -7 minutes
*Add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
*Add 2-3 tablespoons of soya sauce
*Add 1-2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup
*Add the ground soya chunks,
*add 1 tablespoon of salt, and cook for 5 minutes
*Add 2-3 tablespoons of Schwann sauce
*Add black pepper powder, cook for 5-6minutes more
*Add more salt if you want to add
***Now once the filling is ready you should let it cool for 10 minutes or you can just put the vegan meat in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.***
FOR MAKING VEGAN DIP(SAUCE)
* In a bowl add around 3-5 tablespoons of mayonnaise*
*Add 3 tablespoons spoon of garlic mayonnaise
*2 tablespoons of Schwann sauce
*Add 1/2 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
*Add 1 tablespoon of chat masala
*Add 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder Now mix it well
FINAL COOKING
*Now take rice paper sheets and spray some hot water so that the rice paper sheets will become soft and easily foldable.
*Now take a small amount of vegan meat
Inside the rice paper filling.
* Now fold it like a square shape or you can just roll over but make sure that there is no gap left.
*Now dip this prepared roll in the flour slurry...
* Now deep fry it in oil on a medium flame for 2-5 minutes.
*AFTER the deep frying of the wrap try to use a paper towel so that extra oil can be removed if any.
