Paneer Lababdar Recipe:Ingredients:
- 250g paneer, cut into small cubes
- 2 tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 1 onion, roughly chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp kasuri methi
- 1/2 cup cream
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start crackling, add onion, garlic and ginger. Fry till onions turn golden brown.
2. Add tomatoes to the pan and mix well. Cook till tomatoes turn mushy.
3. Add red chili powder, coriander powder and garam masala to the pan. Mix well and cook for a minute.
4. Now, add paneer cubes to the pan and mix everything well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
5. Add kasuri methi and cream to the pan. Mix everything well, cover the pan and simmer for 5-7 minutes.and grate some panner for extra texture of lababdar gravy.
6. Once the gravy thickens, add salt to taste and mix well.
7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
